WOW! I could almost feel the sand between my toes and the warm breezes... I am so thankful and grateful that God brought you and Dave together - love you tons!
Cathy, It truly was wonderful...the whole wedding day and the trip that followed. I couldn't have asked for more. So very thankful that you were able to be there to share in our happiness!! Love and ((hugs)), Bev
Bev, It was good to see your post today; but so sorry to read about your back pain. Praying the MRI shows the problem & you soon get on the recovery road & vacation. God bless! Frances
Hi Bev! I receive the Incourage posts and often read your comments. I visited your blog today and discovered that we have a lot in common. I, too, am a Pittsburgh girl transplanted to the south. I have been living and serving the Lord in the Mississippi Delta for the past 29 years and have grown to love its wonderful people. I'm also a writer at heart. (I have made a half-hearted attempt at starting a blog, but I'm still homeschooling three kids, so there's that...) So, here's to Pittsburgh girls in the south! Go Steelers!
Sorry so slow to respond...always good to know there is another southerner whose blood bleeds black and gold!! I tried to write when my kids were small and going was slow so I said that I was in the "research phase" of writing lol. I returned to my love of writing again in my 50's (not that it has to take that long) and God's been blessing my efforts. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment... Blessings, Bev xx
Bev, I absolutely have LOVED reading the excerpts from the book you wrote!! I have so much in common with you and feel like I know you from the transparency you reveal about yourself! Might I ask how I can purchase your book; I know I would live to read the entire book and keep it to reread over and over again; as well as send it to many of my hurting friends and family that can identify with the same hurts you shared! Can I buy it through you or online? Thankyou, I so appreciate you, your heart, and your excellent writings that encourage me and others so much! Blessings to you, Cathy Johnson
Hey friend. I'm writing today in regards to a comment you left on my blog a couple of weeks ago. First I have to say yay beagles. I'm so happy to hear we share this commonality. I call mine neighborhood watch, lol. She's spoiled rotten and delightfully amusing.
Also you said you were a Pittsburgh gal. Are you from the Pittsburgh area? I grew up in the Johnstown, PA area and now I live near Blairsville, Pa.
New to your blog. I wanted to let you know your Twitter and Pinterest buttons on your blog go to your home page. Heads up!
ReplyDeleteThanks Barbie...that's kind of a default setting since I am a technological dinosaur and don't yet tweet or pin lol.
